The question
X-ray observations reveal energetic sources that are not apparent in ordinary images of galaxies. Research with Chandra telescope data at Curtin University in Perth contributed to a later published survey of the Virgo cluster.
Research approach
Analysis used scientific scripts and CIAO software to investigate the telescope observations. The wider survey was published in 2022 by Roberto Soria and colleagues.
