Evidence for peacebuilding and development.

I have worked in peacebuilding and development research for approximately nine years, across more than twenty countries. I design measurement frameworks, lead quantitative research, and work with UN agencies and national partners to turn findings into useful policy and programme decisions.

Growing up in divided Cyprus shaped my interest in peacebuilding. My work now spans East Africa, Eastern Europe, the Western Balkans, and the Caribbean, alongside research in Cyprus and Afghanistan.

My foundation in physics informs how I approach social questions: connecting rigorous methods with an understanding of context. I am particularly interested in ethnic and ideological conflict, drivers of violence, and resilience, including the connections between psychology, livelihoods, and economics. Research and evaluation remain central to my practice, with a growing focus on intervention design.
