The story
The pilot examined how communities navigate insecurity and what supports resilience. Its six thematic briefs connect social, economic, and governance questions with findings on the rights and inclusion of women and girls.
A finding to take away
Support for women’s education and other basic rights was broader than support for women holding leadership positions. Treating inclusion as one general attitude would miss that difference.
This is historical evidence from May 2021, before the August change in government. It should not be read as a current assessment or as nationally representative evidence. See the report’s methodology and the chapter on the rights and inclusion of women and girls.
